After years of delay and a lengthy transition period, USGBC officially launched the latest version of the LEED rating system, LEED v4, last November. LEED v4 introduces new credits and concepts to the familiar sustainable building benchmark, adding some uncertainty to a process that has become routine for many project teams.

Now that LEED v4 is a reality and projects are using it, join the NAIOP DC/MD Sustainable Development Committee (SDC) for a candid discussion with local professionals on their experiences using v4. Are projects still using LEED now that v4 is required? How does v4 affect project cost and schedule?  What impact has the release of v4 had on sustainable design and construction practices? Hear the answers to a multitude of questions from local architects and builders who have been using v4 on their new projects and from USGBC staff on what to expect next with LEED. The structured conversation will focus on the realities of LEED v4 and what you can expect for your project if you haven’t used v4 yet.
