Awards Committee
The Awards Committee plans the Chapter’s annual Awards of Excellence program, and gala. The committee selects competitive categories, and develops criteria for each award. In addition, the committee develops all marketing collateral, promotes the program to encourage entry, selects the judges, and hosts the judging event. The Awards Gala cocktail reception and dinner logistics are also planned by the committee, in conjunction with the Chapter Executive.

| | Marco Pieri, Senior Associate, Cooper Carry Marco is an enthusiastic architect, designer, and community builder. He joined Cooper Carry’s Mixed-Use/Planning Studio in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2022. Marco has worked on a broad spectrum of project types ranging from mixed-use master planning to institutional projects.
As a Project Architect, his primary focus has been on mixed-use residential and affordable income housing projects. His experience also includes commercial interiors, science and technology, adaptive reuse, and recreation facilities. Marco earned his professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University in 2011. |  | | Lisa Schlossberg, Partner & Executive Directer of Marketing & Communications, Coakley & Williams Construction With nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Lisa spearheads CWC's marketing strategy and enhances brand recognition across the DMV. Having spent over a decade at The JBG Companies, Lisa joined CWC in 2017 and became an equity partner in 2020 as part of the company's strategic growth plan. Lisa received the Developing Leader in Commercial Real Estate Award from NAIOP National in 2014 and our chapter named her the REEL Member of the Year in 2017. She chairs our Awards Committee and was instrumental in establishing the chapter's annual philanthropic partner event, Gear Up for Year Up. Lisa also is a member of our Chapter's Board of Directors. |
