Mr. Smith serves as Managing Director and Business Unit Leader for Trammell Crow Compny's  Mid-Atlantic office.  Trammell Crow Company is a leading national developer of commercial real estate with offices in sixteen major markets around the country.  Mr. Smith is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities and managing the execution of office, multifamily, retail, and industrial projects throughout the Washington, DC metro region.  He is currently responsible for a development portfolio of over 2 million square feet.    

Mr. Smith is an active participant in several real estate industry groups, including ULI, NAIOP, and the DC Real Estate Group.  His involvement in the local DC community includes serving on the  Foundation Board for Children’s National Medical Center and participating in BUILD, an organization whose mission is to use entrepreneurship as a means of propelling severely at-risk youth towards college admission and professional success. 

Mr. Smith earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University in 2002, and graduated summa cum laude from Duke University in 1995.  He lives in Chevy Chase, DC, with his wife Grace and two young sons, Hugh and Campbell and daughter Clare.

Timothy M. Doug has worked in the fields of accounting, auditing, management consulting, and taxation/litigation support since 1978. He has worked with businesses, non-profit and governmental entities, and individuals. Through his work, Doug has gained extensive knowledge of real estate, professional service businesses, retail, high-tech industries, non-profit entities, political organizations, investment companies, and real estate management and development firms. Doug is a certified valuation analyst (CVA) and has completed business valuations on various business entities. He has been designated as an expert witness for domestic relations and civil cases in Montgomery County and Prince Georges County, Maryland, and in the District of Columbia. He is also a master analyst in financial forensics (MAFF) and is licensed as a life and health insurance agent. Doug is the global chairman of Integra International and a board member of Integra International’s AAA Division.

Doug previously served as the president of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc., and was the treasurer of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce. He is currently the treasurer of NAIOP DC l MD, a member of the workforce committee of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and is also serving on the board of other local business and civic associations. Eric S. Kassoff is a shareholder of Wilkes Artis, Chartered, and chair of the Maryland department.  He specializes in real estate tax litigation, and has over 30 years of industry experience in all facets of commercial real estate. Since 1987, he has represented thousands of tax cases, navigating them through the complicated triennial appeal process resulting in the addition of billions of dollars in value to his clients’ real estate holdings. Eric, a native Washingtonian, currently serves as Legal Counsel to the Suburban Maryland/DC Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (“NAIOP”) and is a founding member of the chapter. Drawing on 39 years of industry experience, Roseanne’s work encompasses a wide spectrum of interior architecture projects. Having joined DBI in 1981, Roseanne became a principal of the firm in 2003. Her career has centered on large government and institutional clients, as well as a substantial balance of private sector work. For 18 years, she managed projects for the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, and the International Monetary Fund. Sarah Knutson is the Chief Operating Officer for Akridge. She is responsible for the leadership and direction of internal company functions, as well as a member of the Akridge senior management team. William I. Mike Smith has recently joined the Montgomery County Executive’s office to serve as the County’s first Ombudsman to Property Owners and the Real Estate Development community. Previously Mike was a Senior Vice President with LCOR Inc. where he led significant real estate development projects in Montgomery County and elsewhere in the metropolitan Washington DC region. He also serves on the Board of the MD/DC Chapter of NAIOP. Mike has a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from MIT.
