Sarah Knutson

Sarah is the Chief Operating Officer for Akridge and member of the Management Committee. She is responsible for the leadership and direction of internal company functions, as well as a member of the Akridge senior management team.  Since joining Akridge in 2005, Sarah has developed a comprehensive understanding of the company by dedicating herself to various concentrations within the organization. Sarah has managed all aspects of the development cycle including entitlements, design, marketing, construction, tenant fit-out, and disposition. Sarah is a member of both the DC/Maryland and the Virginia chapters of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). She is also a member of the DC/Maryland chapter’s Board of Directors. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science from Duke University, where she majored in both Mechanical Engineering and Economics.


Cricket Cleary

As a Senior Associate at Transwestern, Cricket Cleary provides both landlord and tenant representation services for institutional, corporate, and private organizations throughout the Washington, D.C., metro area. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2015, Cricket interned at Crown Castle International’s Portfolio Expansion Program in Houston, Texas. Cricket received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is also an active member of NAIOP DC/MD, ULI Washington and CREBA.


Emily Haggerty

Emily is the Marketing Manager for the national tax practice at Altus Group. Prior to joining the Marketing Department, Emily worked as a Real Property Tax Analyst on a nationwide portfolio of all asset types. Emily graduated from the MBA program at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2014 and has a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Vermont.


David Ben-Israel

David is an estimator in the Hensel-Phelps Mid Atlantic Division, working on projects from 30 million to half a billion dollars.   Originally from San Francisco, he moved to the area last year with his wife, who is a DC local.  He holds a B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Management and is on the Chapter’s Membership Committee.


Moira Dhaliwal

As an Asset Management and Development Associate at The Bernstein Companies (TBC), Moira works to maximize returns and mitigate risk inherent in TBC’s developments and its ownership strategy. She is active in NAIOP’s REEL Mentorship Committee, ULI’s Mentorship Program, and holds GBCI accreditations as a LEED AP BD+C and a WELL AP. In addition, she is working on a Complete Streets task force to investigate the effective use of curb space in the built environment and volunteers her time as a Sponsorship and Communications Committee member and Special Events Committee Co-Chair in CREW DC. She holds a Bachelor in Arts from the George Washington University in International Affairs.


Auja Little

Auja is the senior real estate analyst for Washington REIT’s office portfolio, assisting with the management of 3.7+ million square feet in DC and VA. Prior to joining Washington REIT, Auja worked for two private real estate investment firms in North Carolina. Auja graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BS in Finance. She is an active member of CREW DC, AAREP, NAIOP DC | MD & NAIOP VA.
